Two office buildings in Kifissia

Two office|buildings|in Kifissia

The design revolves around three fundamental compositional principles: the positioning of the buildings in a linear fashion along the urban boundary, the austere geometry of the volumes and the unconventional treatment of the outer shell. The buildings’ facades are presented as full-scale glazed murals that resemble a barcode. These curtain walls are composed of overlapping glass planes of varied texture, shade and reflectivity that filter natural and artificial light in a singular manner. Two large, sculptural metal and glass panels are suspended over the entrances, adding to the composition’s particularly dynamic feel.
